Hello Lovers: Brian Atwood & Sophia Webster :-)

Hey divas, so after evaluating the shoe section of my closet, I realized that I love pumps and have been focusing primarily on building a versatile collection of pumps over the past few years. There is just something so sophisticated and classic about a good pump! Anyway…because I’ve been mostly focused on building a descent collection of pumps, I’ve realized that I somewhat neglected my sandals. Don’t get me wrong, I have sandals, but I really wanted to build a more versatile collection. For me, after getting the basics (a black strappy sandal, a black basic sandal, a wedge, and a silver sandal for most evening gowns), then you can really start having some fun. People sometimes think that you shouldn’t splurge on sandals because they can only be worn in the Spring/ Summer, which is only 6 months out of the year, but I think that is a weak argument. Many people don’t give it a second thought when it comes to splurging on boots, which they will wear probably for 3-4 months the most, so why not indulge yourself with something that you can get a lot of use out of for half of a year. Now, I am not saying that all of your sandals have to be a spurge. I have a good array of cute sandals from Zara and H&M. What I am saying is that you shouldn’t feel guilty for treating yourself to a little Spring/ Summer fabulousity. My tip is… if you are going to splurge, make sure that they are worth splurging on, like a statement sandal. Also, make sure that you...
Hello Lovers: Christian Loboutin So Kate :-)

Hello Lovers: Christian Loboutin So Kate :-)

Hey divas I know that it has been a while since I’ve updated my blog, but what better way than by sharing a few little treats. If you know my personal style, you would notice that I am a huge fan of the classic pump; it is clean, sexy, simple, timeless, and goes with almost everything. Christian Louboutin makes my favorite classic pump, The Pigalle (well the original Pigalle anyway), but the brand slightly altered the shape of the Pigalle  over time which left it looking a lot more common and a lot less sexy. Probably to compensate for the commonality of the (new) Pigalle, the brand recently introduced a new style called, So Kate. When I saw the So Kate it took my love for the classic pump to a whole other level. The So Kate is reminiscent of the Pigalle, but with the sexiness dial turned all the way up. The arch of the So Kate appears a bit more extreme in silhouette, and the heel is a bit thinner but it is relatively as comfortable or a little more comfortable than the Pigalle (imo). The only thing that Pigalle lovers may miss just a little in the So Kate is the shorter toe box which allows a bit more toe cleavage than the So Kate (which is a moot point since the new Pigalle is not as sexy as it used to be). The So Kate also lends itself to a descent amount of toe cleavage, but the Pigalle offers just a little more. With all that being said, Let’s say a huge Hello Lovers to...
