OOTD: Aztec Summer :-)

I am so grateful for warm weather (because I hate being cold), but sometimes this weather can be a bit unbearable. It’s sometimes difficult to stay chick and diva-licious when the temperature is reaching close to 100 degrees, but I think that I have found my summer chic uniform!
I love shorts in the summer, but I hate short shorts (on myself)! One inch in length can make a world of difference to me when it comes to purchasing shorts; if I can see butt cheek without bending over, then it is definitely not for me. While looking for the perfect summer shorts for myself, I walked into Zara and found my holy grail; they are the perfect length and they are high-waisted! I love high-waisted items (shorts, skirts, pants). They emphasize a small waiste which makes the hips appear a little wider, while emphasizing a cute tush. High-waisted items are great for giving off the illusion that you are a bit more curvacious than you actually are. Once I found them, I got them in all four colors (red, blue, black, & white) and the thing that made it sweeter is that I got them all on sale!

Before I found my shorts, I have been stocking up on bodysuits from Motel. They have the cutest graphic bodysuits and they are a steal when you get them on sale. Paired with my newly acquired high-waisted shorts; I believe to have found my summer chic uniform for unbearable weather. It is great for shopping, casual night out, hanging with friends, or even a barbeque. I am sure that you will see me in different variations of this outfit
