Some of you may not already know this, but I am a huge Brandy and Monica fan (individual & collectively). From the first time that I heard “Baby”, I was on the Brandy bandwagon and never got off. Her voice is so smooth and unique. The only thing that I felt was missing was her style, but this 2012 Brandy is Brand-Nu and is definitely stepping up her game. When we were introduced to Monica with “Just One of Them Days”, she was the beautiful round the way girl with a bit of an attitude, but the voice to back it up.
I must admit that when I initially heard Brandy and Monica’s new single, I was a bit underwhelmed, not because of their vocals (because they killed it), but it just wasn’t doing it for me; that is until I saw the video. This video does exactly what a good music video is supposed to do. It steps up the song. It gives you an image to correspond with the song making the song stick in your head a lot longer. Granted, I did watch the video a few times, just because of the fashion, styling, and makeup, but in the process the song is now stuck in my head lol!
These divas are working it in this video. From their hair to makeup, to clothing; the styling was on point. You can tell that they are taking more risks fashion wise and are becoming more comfortable with it. They had the perfect swag to pull off these looks. One of the worst things in styling is seeing someone wearing a hot outfit without the confidence to pull it off. This was not the case with these ladies.

And I agree, the song underwhelmed me too, but it’s Brandy and Monica so I listen to it 
As for the video, they get A+++++ on everything lol. Everything is on point: hair, make up, style, etc…They definitely stepped their game up.

I’m so glad to see that I’m not the only one who has been folling B&M from their early days…I love those ladies as well – especially Monica – I own every album and know every lyric. The song is hot despite other critics. I like the two together but Brandy really killed it in this song. Glad to see her back.
They sound so good singing together as usual and the video definitely adds the perfect element to the song.
