Hello Lover: This Lady is a Snake (Christian Louboutin Python Lady Peep)

I have been doing pretty good lately. Haven’t purchased anything on the fly, talked myself out of splurging on the neon trend (not to say that I won’t take part in it because I definitely will lol), and have been shopping my closet more often than before, so I decided to treat myself for being a good girl lol. No, seriously… I have actually been saving and looking for a new handbag for myself for the past few months and just couldn’t decide. I like hand bags on other people, but just couldn’t decide on one that I really loved enough to splurge on (I guess I will just stick to my clutches for now). Last week I had to go to Saks to get a few things for a client, but I can never go to Saks without stopping on my favorite floor, the 8th floor- The Shoe Salon (which I renamed the Candy Shop ).

As I walked through some of the hottest shoes of the Spring season, I was tempted, but rationalized my way out of each piece, that is until I came across a shoe so beautiful it actually made my heart flutter. I stared and stared, but decided not to make an impromptu decision, so I left it behind. I couldn’t get it out of my mind for the next few days, so I spoke to hubby about it, he said, “go for it, but no more splurges until your birthday!” I can live with that, so I started tracking down the shoe. It was sold out on the website, contacted my favorite Saks SA and she informed me that it was sold out in my size…whaaaaat?!?! Needless to say I was disappointed, but by morning the next day, I received a call from her saying that one of her co-workers were holding a 39 for one of her clients but didn’t need it anymore, so she is now holding it for me…I was super excited. I called her and told her that I would be there the following day. As I made my way over to Saks, I kept telling myself, “you may not love it as much as you thought, it could have just been your adrenaline that makes you think that it is as great as you think it is”, but it was not so. As she brought the shoe box over to me and took them out, I said a huge Hello Lover inwardly because they were exactly as I remembered …absolutely gorgeous!

Say a huge Hello Lover to Christian Louboutin Python Lady Peep in Menthe! I actually saw pictures of this shoe on the Louboutin website, but was not really moved until I saw them in person. Pictures do not do this shoe justice.

I know that these may not be everyones taste, but they definitely scream DIVA to me. They come in 2 other color stories, but I love the green. They remind me of dragons lol
